4 x Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured Sirloin Steaks
For the marinade
150mls Kikkoman Teriyaki sauce
2 large garlic cloves, crushed
1 1/2 inch piece of ginger, peeled and finely grated
A pinch of dried chilli flakes
2 tablespoons honey
Juice of 1 lime
Steamed rice with vegetables or baby salad leaves with fresh crusty bread
In a large shallow dish, mix the marinade ingredients together. Add the steaks and coat well. Cover the dish with cling film and marinate for 30 minutes.
Preheat an oven.
Heat a non stick frying pan to a high heat.
Remove the steaks from the marinade and seal for 1 minute on both sides.
Place the sealed steaks onto a baking dish. Pour the remaining marinade into the frying pan and boil for 2 minutes, then pour over the steaks and place into a hot oven for 5 minutes for medium - rare, longer if you prefer them well done. Remove from the oven, cover with tinfoil and rest for 2 minutes.
Arrange salad onto plates with the steaks, drizzle the cooking sauce over the top and serve with crusty bread.
